Emcot is a wonderful, mid-terrace stone cottage, built in 1680 in Preston-under-Scar, three miles from Leyburn in North Yorkshire. The cottage has three first floor bedrooms, including a king-size double room. There is a first floor bathroom, a ground floor shower room and a sitting room with a south facing balcony. On the lower ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area for two by a woodburning stove. The boot room allows access into an enclosed, south facing cottage garden at the back of the property, where you can sit and enjoy a drink in the summer. There is also roadside parking available on a first come/first served basis, but which is usually available. Set in a wonderful spot, with so much to see and do in the surrounding area, Emcot is a wonderful base for couples, friends and families.
