Rose Cottage is a pretty two bedroomed cottage within easy walking distance of the open Forest and popular village of Lyndhurst, with its many shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage has been tastefully furnished to give a stylish welcoming feel and the comfortable summerhouse at the end of the garden is a perfect place to relax on a sunny day. An open fire offers a cosy feel for those out of season breaks, and a well-behaved dog is welcome. Boltons Bench is a short stroll away, offering far-reaching views of the area and often frequented by free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle. For walkers and cyclists there are many local trails, details of which can be found at the New Forest Heritage Centre which also gives a unique guide of the history and heritage of the forest. Other local attractions include the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Longdown Activity Farm, New Forest Wildlife Park, Paultons Park, Exbury Gardens and Calshot Activity Centre to name just a few. The New Forest villages of Brockenhurst, Burley and Fordingbridge are all well worth a visit whilst exploring the National Park. Please note there are steep cottage stairs in this property.
