Spacious with tall ceilings and period features in keeping with its listed status.The vast windows in a traditional sash design with single panes enjoy a view over the hustle and bustle of Lyme Regis high street below. Quite simply one of the best locations for a seaside break and only a short walk from the beach and promenade, harbour and famous Cobb. The first floor apartment is only a stones' throw from countless restaurants, beach cafes, pubs and bars. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family.
