An ideal choice for couples and families seeking a holiday retreat with all of the amenities of this coastal town right on the doorstep. Everything is within a few minutes walk of the apartment and the world famous Jurassic Coast of Lyme Bay is almost a stones' throw away. This comfortable holiday home is on the ground floor level with the addition of a quirky basement bedroom with twin beds, perfect for children and friends. The sandy beach and promenade is easily accesible from the apartment and the main shopping area, with its many cafes, pubs and restaurants are conveniently located. The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break and the famous Cob to explore. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. If you are planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town. Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and small theatre can be found.
