Garden Cottage is a real treat. The cottage has been totally and lovingly refurbished, is exceptionally comfortable, beautifully furnished, and is tucked away in a quiet residential road in the centre of Loddiswell, just a short walk to the friendly village pub. This small hillside village, named after a well in the village belonging centuries ago to someone with the name of Lod, is set above the beautiful River Avon valley, with plenty of doorstep walks from the cottage and wonderful walking along the old Primrose railway line, a great walk for animal owners, families and ramblers. Just three miles from Kingsbridge at the head of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and five miles from the beaches and sea at Thurlestone, Bantham or Bigbury on Sea, this is a really central spot from which to explore this beautiful area of the South Hams.
