Slipway House is a fine three storey house set back from the ferry slipway on the water's edge, with magnificent views of the River Dart and across to Dartmouth. At the end of a row of period houses, it is ideally placed for both Kingswear, the quieter and sunnier side of the water with a handful of pubs and restaurants; and Dartmouth, the jewel of the South Hams renowned for its lively harbour, Castle, Royal Naval College and remarkable selection of boutique shops, pubs and gourmet restaurants. The house is full of character with an appealing interior which is stylish, tastefully furnished with comfort and a touch of luxury and takes great advantage of the large windows in nearly all rooms that look across the river. Once the car is parked there is no need to drive again. Catch the foot or car ferry across to Dartmouth, or the Paignton and Dartmouth steam train to Goodrington Sands and the English Riviera, or boat trips to Totnes and Brixham. There are magnificent doorstep walks along the coastal path and sandy coves. Sugary Cove for example is within walking distance on the Dartmouth side with the famous Blackpool Sands 4 miles further on. Please Note:
