In cooler months, guests will appreciate the slate tiled flooring with underfloor heating and can enjoy cosying up by the log burner to watch a movie or series on the smart TV. Both bedrooms have been stylishly furnished, offering comfortable beds for tired legs after a day out exploring. The family shower room and cloakroom are finished to a contemporary style and the property benefits from parking for two vehicles. This very peaceful spot is tucked on the side of a marvellous valley that dips down through ten acres of adjoining grounds (which guests have access to) bordered by the River Taw to a stunning moorland lake and is a 5 minute stroll into the picturesque village of Belstone with its fine local pub/restaurant, tea rooms, ancient village stocks, medieval church and riding stables. The property has direct access to Dartmoor itself and is surrounded by wonderful walking country, amongst some of the grandest tors on Dartmoor where High Wilhays (the highest point in southern England) can be reached in a mornings walk from the front door.
